No other material compares to Glass. We use mineral glass lenses in all of our sunglasses because it’s more scratch resistant, optically correct and better for the environment than the plastic alternatives that go in most other eyewear.

Eco-Acetate & Eco-Grilamid
“ As of 2024, every frame in the OTIS Eyewear range is now made from either EcoAcetate, which is certified biodegradable, or EcoGrilamid, which uses majority plant-based materials for production. OTIS’s signature mineral glass lenses are also made from natural materials which are non-toxic and endlessly recyclable. “
Better Packaged
“ OTIS Eyewear used to come shipped in multiple plastic sleeves. To eliminate this single-use plastic from our packaging we developed a recycled PET protective wrap that also doubles as a cleaning cloth. Our boxes are also made from recyclable card which is FSC Certified for responsible forestry. “
